Video
- A short entertaining video with the purpose of “selling” the value of AAA 090 to new students with student testimonials and preview of the content to get them excited (with a focus on “learning how to learn” in a supportive community). Possibly use a parody-type theme such as Introducing FOH: Faculty Office Hours https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQq1-_ujXrM&sns=fb&app=desktop.
- The video will be shared to educate and excite new students about taking AAA 090. It will be showcased on the AAA Academic Department page http://www.aims.edu/academics/aaa/, provided to advisors to show during advising appointments with new students, made available to instructors in other departments to increase their understanding of the value to the course for students, etc.

- 95% of AAA students said they knew how to study, take notes, and read academic textbooks after taking AAA
- Fall to Spring retention rate for students enrolled in AAA is 78% compared to 58% for all new students
